On the 11th of May 2016, the Hindu Forum of Belgium met with Meyrem Almaci, the chairwomen of the Flemish Green Party. Meyrem Almaci was accompanied by Gijs Ory, a policy adviser for the Green Party. Volunteer Markus Fobelets was the representative on behalf of the Hindu Forum of Belgium.

For the recent visit to Brussels by the Prime Minister of India, the Honourable Shri Narendra Modi, we negotiated with the Indian Embassy in Belgium to meet with the Prime Minister and air issues faced by Hindus in Belgium and Europe. This we felt appropriate as over 50% of the Hindus in Europe are either Non Resident Indians (NRIs) or People of Indian Origin (PIOs).

created in the Brussels explosion news is coming through of Hindus who were
caught in the mayhem. So far one Hindu has been identified as having died
in the Brussels attack and one was found injured and is safe. May their

Monday 16 November the Hindu Forum Europe (HFE) celebrated Diwali for the first time in the EU Parliament, Brussels. Host MEP, Neena Gill congratulated Hindus with this big success.
