TThe Annual General Assembly of the Hindu Forum of Europe (HFE) was held from June 3 to 6, being the first time it has been held in Spain, specifically at the Campus Phi facilities in Acebo, Extremadura. This being the first face-to-face meeting since the pandemic began. The Hindu Forum of Europe is a religious organization that brings together the Hindu federations of fourteen European countries, being the voice of the three million people who practice Hinduism on the European continent, and that from now on will have a natural representative from Ceuta. Every year the general assembly is held in one of the countries affiliated with the HFE, in the last face-to-face assembly, held in London in 2019, it was decided that the next venue for the general assembly would be in Spain, specifically at Campus Phi. Campus Phi is located in a privileged natural environment such as the Sierra de Gata in Extremadura, where the Hotel and vegetarian restaurant are located, as well as the Phi School of Yoga, Vedanta and Meditation directed by Swami Rameshwarananda Giri and his magnificent team of collaborators.
Representatives of the Hindu federations of the United Kingdom, Italy, Belgium, Sweden, Germany, the Netherlands traveled to Extremadura and those who could not attend in person did so online. The Hindu Federation of Spain in collaboration with Campus Phi hosted the event, where in addition to the work meetings, there were cultural visits, ceremonies and meetings with authorities from the Extremaduran community.
