The Hindu Forum of Europe condemns in the strongest possible way the abominable attack on civilians at las Ramblas in Barcelona. We believe these atrocious acts of violence and cowardice do not reflect the values of any religious tradition. In Hinduism we value non-violence, dialogue, tolerance, diversity, compassion and we condemn hatred, violence, envy, intolerance, cruelty, and racism.

We extend our condolences to all those families who lost loved ones in the attacks in Barcelona and we pray for the swift recovery of those injured.

We also pray and work towards a better world, free of hateful and heinous acts of violence.
