Pitru Paksha /Shraddha 28 September – 12 October

This Pitru Paksha we will remember our ancestors and recently departed
loved ones. We will also remember those who have lost their lives in Mecca,
in the floods in Europe, USA and, those that have died at the hands of
terrorist in various part of the world.
It is traditional during Pitru Paksha to feed people and we urge that you
give some of the money as Dana to those feeding the Syrian refugees and
others who are heading to Europe to escape atrocities. Donate to the
Nepalese who are still trying to reestablish their lives since the
Earthquakes there.

We are aware that ISKCON Hungary is feeding up to 300 refugees a day, there
may be other groups too. If you wish to donate to them please send
donations to HFE and we will pass on. Please write clearly where you want
the money to go, eg, Nepal, Hungary etc. and send to our postal address:
